I Made It, yay Me!

Entebbe, Uganda19 years old, currently waiting to join the University of my dreams and do my dream course. Mean time enjoying everyone's great stories here and I know I will be writing here again pretty soon to tell you about achieving my perfect weight :)!
It has been a year after being introduced to The Secret, and though I admit of forgetting about it once in a while, it never failed when I practiced LOA. Wonderful things happen. Dreams are realised and I am trying to apply it more and more.
Back in 2007, though I hadn’t read the book, I used the law of attraction to make a great wish come true. I had always wondered how it would be to be the top of my class, and wanted to experience that. I was a shy girl with a sort of low self esteem, but having moved to a new school and environment, I wanted to make a mark somewhere.
Every year I would watch certificates being handed to those who had completed their IGCSE exams, and the best achiever would be the last one to receive his or her certificate. I would watch in awe as students and teachers applauded and the lucky student would joyfully go to receive her reward for hard-work. I wanted that!! I visualized myself over and over again being the best achiever.
Finally I was sitting for my exams and for some time I felt bad because they were really tough and I did not think I would do so well. I seemed to be the only one who did not have a tutor to help study, but I kept telling myself that God would be my tutor and show me how to revise well. Most of my classmates would comment on how easy an exam was and my heart would fall when I thought of how tough it had been!
Yet in my mind I didnt want to settle for second best no matter what. I prayed and kept on believing.
Finally results were out and I had passed more than I had dared dreamed of passing! I’ll never forget my trembling as I was called down in front of the whole school to receive my certificate. Not only was I the best achiever, I had broken an academic record in the school. That moment played out exactly how I saw it!!
After I got The Secret my jaw dropped. I have a more clear picture of LOA. Dare to dream. Now I am trying to practice The Secret in whatever I do and it always amazes me. Remember we are never “thinking to ourselves” – the universe is always listening.
Great things can happen to you to and no matter how insignificant you may feel, remind yourself that you deserve all your wildest dreams coming true. Please believe and give thanks.
