When life seemed miserable…..
I would like to quote two incidents which made me a staunch believer of this philosophy.
Firstly, when I had to travel by bus everyday, they were the moments that I hated the most. I had no mode of commutation and started believing that I should have my own bike so that I can commute easily wherever I want to…. But I did not have a single penny to fulfill my dream. However, I kept believing and imagining myself ride a bike.
Fortunately, WITHIN a month, I had 20 students approach me to teach them a foreign language. And I had more than enough money to buy myself a bike!
The second incident that rocked my life, was getting me into the best school which I had strongly dreamt of. I was an average student all my school life, but the desire for me to get into the best school made me work very hard.
I got admission where I wanted to and successfully completed my MBA. I will always treasure the moment when I went to check out the merit list to see if I have cleared the entrance test. I started searching my name from bottom of the list. I scrolled up the entire list and couldn’t find my name, I was already getting panicked. I burst into tears when I found my name, the last one! Yes! I had topped the entrance examination!! Unbelievable!!
