Warning: A tad long.

From 2001 through 2004 I had a successful business, a house, and a hefty savings account. By the beginning of 2005 my business had failed, I was living off my savings, and I had a good notion the house was unsustainable on my current budget.

A friend suggested I look into Feng Shui to see if my house could be the cause of my ill fortune. I ordered a Feng Shui book and immediately realized my house, which I bought in Spring 2003, was not in a good location for prosperity. A few nights later I couldn’t sleep. I was utterly inspired to go to my local mall and buy things to beautify my home.

I spent almost seven thousand dollars on artwork, bamboo plants, and a fountain. I then placed everything in places that made me feel good. And immediately my home grew more cozy and accessible.

I then decided to drain my pool and give it a fresh coat of paint, another thousand plus dollars, and I did this because I was inspired.

Afterwards, I called a few Realtors and decided to list my home. To make a long story short, I saw two Realtors, one who told me my house was worth less than market value, and another who told me my house was worth much more than market value.

I went with my gut and stuck with the one who saw prosperity, rather than the one who saw my property as a quick sale beneath market value.

Within four weeks a couple had made an offer and I would eventually sell my house for more than $150,000 above what I had paid for it just two years before. The Feng Shui came in when my Realtor said the thing the couple liked most about the house was the cozy feeling they got from the artwork, the plants, and the placement of the furniture.

I took that money and decided to move from New Jersey to my dream location, Central Florida. I found a great apartment, and placed my money in an investment account.

But the first couple years things weren’t so great. I wasn’t making money, I was again living mostly off my savings account, and I was depressed. In spring 2007 I went looking at properties, but every one I liked I was outbid on. I then just gave up.

I found The Secret in early summer of 2007, and I became obsessed with using it to help me change my life. Within a year of using The Secret, I watched my business take off, and money was coming in constantly. In fact, I became so busy I lost track of The Secret until I had a tragedy strike in the summer of 2009.

I had a kitten I adopted in June 2009 and he grew very sick by August. Instead of using The Secret, which was out of mind at the time, I let the circumstances make me feel bad, very, very bad. The kitten, Max, got worse, until I had no choice but to have him euthanized after he lost all motor control.

I was devastated. My business took a hit. A big hit, and I just didn’t care at all. Then I went to look at Max’s stuff and under his favorite blankie was my DVD of The Secret, along with some of my journal books. I popped in The Secret and after watching it almost all day for three days, I started to get inspired ideas. One of them was to get another kitten, not to replace Max, but to fill the hole in my heart. And once I did that, I began to get back to work.

My new kitten, Charlie, is with me today, and he is doing great.

But with The Secret in my hands again, I started thinking about a home of my own. I was not thrilled with my apartment, It had no natural light, no patio, and I just started to feel confined.

I started picturing a new home. I got very serious about what I wanted. A condo, townhouse, or a home? I decided a Condo would be perfect. I wrote all the things I wanted in my new home, and by the beginning of summer 2010 I had placed an offer, uncontested, for a Condo with the remaining money from selling my house.

I then, crazy as it sounds, went out and bought everything I wanted in my new condo. New appliances, new furniture, new carpets, even new toilets, granite counter tops, the works!!

I placed myself in a large amount of debt, but I had unwavering faith I would make back the money within two years!

Using The Secret, I did make back that money, and I still have received money enough on top of that to have a nice savings, buy most things I want, and I even own both of my new cars bought in 2010 (paid off) and my condo (paid off).

I haven’t been able to manifest millions yet, that’s my goal, but I have 0 credit card debt. And I believe I am a manifester, and I have complete faith in the Law of Attraction.

To show how tests in our lives repeat themselves, in January 2012 I received my newest cat, Zeddie, and in July he grew terribly ill. Refused to eat. The vet had no explanation, and after not eating almost seven days, he grew lethargic, disinterested, and slept all day and night.

This time I loaded up The Secret, and I told him, “I love you, you are not going ANYWHERE!!!” I visualized him growing up, being on my lap, laying next to me as a full grown adult, and I even though this may sound crazy, I even told God I would give ten years of my life to him, if only he could live at the least, those ten years!!

And the next day I took him to the vet and I told her, “I don’t know what you can do, but I am not leaving until you get him to eat something.”

And the vet then gave him this special food, and he ate it all! Once he got home, he was lively, and hungry! I told him I was with him, I gave him my full attention, and I can proudly say he is alive, well, and we are the best of friends!!! Everyone comments on how attached he is to me, and they don’t even know the story I am telling you!

In the end, The Secret has been beyond helpful for me. The Power has been beyond helpful for me. There are tons of other examples, but I doubt any of you came here to read a book!

The last two things which are amazing in and of themselves. The other day I was listening to The Secret on my iPad, and I walked out on my patio, I saw a Giant “S” shaped cloud all by itself in a vivid blue sky, and I took a dozen pictures of it. I was utterly amazed, and then today I was listening to The Power, and I get an email that gives me a new word a day, and the word this morning was “Secrete”:
