Weird Coincidence Or The Secret?

A friend gave me the book ‘The Secret’ about six months ago. Not being an avid reader since college, I’d read only a chapter or so and then put the book on my night stand to gather dust. My friend would periodically chide me for not reading it, so I’d read a chapter here, a couple of paragraphs there.
About three weeks ago, I had an urge to begin reading the book in earnest. I liked what I read, but more importantly, I believed it. I had always believed that many things in life are more than coincidences, and ‘The Secret’ explained it so perfectly to me.
Before even finishing the book, but already very excited by what I had read so far, I received a ‘sign’. I wasn’t seeking a sign, but I received one anyway. Hold on to your hat:
I called the main number to a casino chain to be connected to the poker room in one of their casinos. The operator always asks for your first name (presumably to call you by your name and ‘personalize’ the call, but after giving my name on previous occasions, interestingly I’ve never been addressed by my name, Ben). Since I knew they wouldn’t call me by my name, I decided to have a bit of fun and give them a fake name. The name that ‘popped’ into my head was Rudolph. I did not sit and try to think of a funny name, the name just popped into my head. When the operator came on and asked for my name, I said ‘Rudolph’ while smiling. She then connected me to the poker room and I made arrangements to play in a poker tournament later that day.
I arrived at the poker tournament and took my seat. A few minutes later we began to play. About five minutes into the tournament I heard someone at my table say ‘Rudolph’ to the gentleman seated directly next to me. I asked the gentleman what his name was and he replied ‘Rudolph’.
This is too incredible to merely be a coincidence. What this is is the law of attraction. By reading ‘The Secret’ and being fully committed to the law of attraction, I was given the greatest sign I could imagine. How many Rudolphs have you ever heard of (besides ‘the red-nosed reindeer’ and ‘Valentino’)? Why did that name just ‘pop’ into my head?
This ‘sign’ didn’t make me rich, or send me the girl of my dreams. What it did was galvanize my belief in the law of attraction and ‘The Secret’.
Since that day I have filled out my ‘Universal Check’ for $200,000, which is what I KNOW I will net next year with my business. Each day I tell myself that good people are drawn to me, and wealth, money, prosperity, health, and happiness are drawn to me. Since then, I’ve had people calling me wanting to do business with me; I’ve had old friends getting back in touch with me; I’ve been inspired to start running and so far have run in a two mile race and a 5k. (NOTE: In high school I couldn’t run more than 300 yards because of ‘exercise induced asthma’, where I would start wheezing and couldn’t get oxygen in my lungs. I’ve lived with that label since then and avoided a lot of activities because of it. Since ‘The Secret’, I decided to beat that label, and I have. I have worked through my breathing issues while running and now have no problems getting oxygen. I can actually feel my lungs getting stronger).
This book has LITERALLY changed my life. I will live by ‘The Secret’ forever. God bless!
