Last week I picked up a copy of “The Secret” after, I’m ashamed to admit, months of making fun of people who were reading it. I figured that if I was going to make fun I should really read it and find out what all this is all about. That was on Saturday.

On Sunday I read a little bit and began to visualize things. One of the things I visualized was having a smooth easy day at work. In order for that to happen, everyone would have to be there, and extra staff would have to materialize. Totally impossible given the staffing crisis my work is dealing with. Wouldn’t you know, every day that week something happened, many somethings most days, that made it possible for me to work in my area only and not bounce around all day.

Then on Tuesday I started to visualize a new car. A Grand Prix. I could feel the leather steering wheel and smell the new car scent, knowing that with my financial situation there was no way for it to happen, but I was going to BELIEVE that it would happen.

On Thursday I got the keys to my new Grand Prix and it sits in my drive today.

Then on Friday I decided that I would reserve the Secret audiobook at my local library so I could listen in the car on my way to and from work. I visualized it and believed it, but when I went to the library to get it, it was checked out. When I went to check out my other items the lady said, “You have items on hold, let me get them for you.” IT WAS THE SET OF AUDIOBOOKS!! I hadn’t called to reserve them, I just visualized it and it happened!! This is unbelievable!! I am using it every day in every way. I am thrilled and astounded! Thank you!
