Waking Up.

Oldham, Great BritainMum of 2. I was in a very dark place until being introduced to The Secret.
I am a mum of 2. I was getting up sorting the children out, getting them off to school, going to work in an extremely stressful environment, coming home tired and losing a part of me every day because I was depressed and wanted life to be over as I couldn’t bear it anymore.
One of my friends mentioned this book, The Secret. How she read it, and how it had changed her life. My boyfriend overheard this and bought me the book, along with The Secret Daily Teachings.
It all came to a climax when I was off work for a long period of time with depression. One particular day, I woke up and I was feeling very low. For some reason, I forced myself to get out of bed, go downstairs and pick up the book from the shelf. I began to read and read until I finished the book.
It made me realize that I was attracting all this sadness and illness, the negativity and the heartache.
Over the coming weeks, I began to smile more. I made little changes, like instead of saying I would like, I would say I want. I wrote all of the quotes that I liked on my mirror in my bedroom and began to say each one out loud every morning as a mantra.
I created my vision board. The first thing on it was to get married and I visualized my dress. I enrolled in a degree course to better my prospects and I passed my first assignment with a merit because I knew I could do it.
I am getting married on the 30th of August and the dress I had visualized is the one I will be wearing!
My fiance and my children have been introduced to The Secret. Our family relationship has changed for the better as we all now use The Secret.
Instead of reinforcing the negative in life, reinforce the positive. Life is too short, grasp every opportunity and be grateful every day.
I always believed things happen for a reason and buying and reading a copy of your book saved me. It made me a better mum to my children, a better partner to my fiance and more than anything, allowed me to become me again, but an improved version.
Thank you!
