I had tried hard to believe in the toughest of times but I realized recently I had become extremely negative in my mind. So here is my story of how I steered back to the positive path. The path that gave me everything.

I had lost my job a few months back as my work authorization had expired. I worked really hard and got to a situation where I could work again if I had an offer within a said date. I waited for a long time and applied to every job out there on all the websites but I didn’t receive a single call or positive email. Day after day I kept skimming through “Unfortunately we have decided to move ahead with other candidates”. I had a week left to get an offer in order to get my work authorization.

That was when I told myself enough was enough! I have to start believing that things will go the right way. I had a position that was in my pipeline but no one had responded from the recruiting team after the initial reference checks were done. I decided to focus on the next steps for that. It was a position for an app with a famous retail company. I downloaded the app and started going over it, looking for all the improvements I would suggest as a person on the team. I went to the office location and checked out the place, thinking in my mind that I was working there starting in October. I wrote down a list of things I wanted from the Universe and I was grateful for each and every thing that was given to me.

After a week of gratitude and positive thinking, here I am with the offer letter and the authorization to work! I am going to be joining the company on Oct 3rd in the position I have always wanted.
