SingaporeYoung professional living the life of dreams.
I’ve been a student of the LOA since the age of 15. For a decade, I’ve had a lot of success with it. I’ve also had my fair share of downs. However, the Universe keeps sending me signs to keep me going; whether it’s seeing a copy of The Magic at my friend’s place or manifesting something I was just thinking about. Whenever I’m in a dark place, I find myself drawn to spirituality and self-improvement. I take this as an opportunity to recharge and work through my emotions, and really reevaluate my life. I am always eventually gifted with experiences that far exceed my expectations. The Universe always delivers more, and at the perfect time.
Fast forward to 2019. I was struggling to find a job right out of college and my bank account was dwindling. I felt like I was running out of time and the shame I felt was the worst part. I moved back in with my parents and decided to take this downtime to work on myself. I got into meditation and downloaded The Secret daily reminder app. I continued applying for as many jobs as I could without giving it too much thought. I focused on my mental and physical health.
While literally filling out job applications online, I received an email from my dream company inviting me for an interview. Needless to say, I got the job and the best part was they would apply for the visa for me and even increased my salary so that I could get the employment pass! Furthermore, the company has an amazing work culture and everyone is incredibly inspiring and kind. My boss treats us fairly and even approved of my leave without any problem. That was the one thing that I was worried about as I already made my travel plans!
Another thing that I always wanted was an Apple Watch to keep track of my fitness. I said to myself that I would buy one with my first paycheck. I had to take a 2.5 hour flight to attend the job interview I mentioned before and while I was at the airport, I won a lucky draw for the latest model of Apple Watch. It was in stainless steel, exactly the color I wanted. Now I am even more motivated to get fit and I have already seen amazing results thanks to the watch.
All this is because I kept my faith, stay humble and grateful and continue to work on myself. I also consistently take actions that are good for me. The tiny decisions you make on a daily basis do add up. Once you fit in the right cog, everything starts to move smoothly. Thank you, thank you, thank you so much!
