I just finished college and had to move to a different city to study for an entrance exam and get a job.

I wanted an apartment in this particular apartment complex which is in a prime location. It is a very lively place with every possible facility imaginable and has close proximity to basically everything. It is very hard to find an apartment in this complex as there is a lot of demand for it and the prices are high and I wanted a fully furnished apartment, not an empty one.

I waited for three long months and brokers showed me apartments in the complex that were satisfactory but not meeting all my requirements. Then one day I saw one that was reasonably ok. It was a 2bhk and it was furnished, but it looked slightly old and not that well done and the view wasn’t all that great. So with no other choice I thought I better settle for this as something is better than nothing.

A day later I called the broker to confirm it and it was gone! Someone else had already paid the advance. I was devastated for a moment as I couldn’t wait much longer and waste much more time and not shift just because I wanted an apartment in a particular location.

But then I thought ok, whatever, I will get something better. I continued having faith and being grateful. I believe in the law of attraction very deeply and I have faith in myself in whatever I do or want. I know if I really want something I will get it. I knew that 3bhks were expensive and it would be hard to find people to share the apartment with who are willing to pay that much. But for some reason I just continued writing affirmations that said I am happy and grateful for my beautiful, fully furnished, pool facing 3bhk apartment on the 5th floor, in so and so place because it is my beautiful home and I love everything about it. I really really imagined myself living there. Every detail that would make me happy.

Then a couple of days later the broker called me and I went to see this apartment and my god, it was beyond beautiful! It was a 3bhk, it was fully furnished, the master bedroom had a balcony with a great view that faced the pool and a park and a basketball court. It was on the fifth floor. It had this sofa that was similar to the one I was admiring in a friends place just a few weeks ago. Every since I was a child I have loved brick walls. I didn’t visualize it here, but guess what? One of the walls in the living room is a brick wall! While visualising, I couldn’t decide if I wanted vitrified tiles or a wooden flooring and the place has a mixture of both! I never had anything that I considered a favourite colour but I did like the colour theme of this one tv channel and guess what? My room had those exact same shades of pink and purple on it’s walls. I fell in love with the place as soon as I saw it.

But now it was really expensive and I had to find roommates. I started visualizing living in this place and waking up every morning on this bed and starting my day and everything. I asked my friends if they knew anyone looking for a place to stay. Most of them didn’t and many thought it was too expensive and refused. Then this friend of mine told me to write a post in this particular group on Facebook.

Within two days I had many calls of inquiry and I finalized on 2 girls and hoped and visualised that they are awesome people and wrote down qualities that I wanted them to have. We moved in an started living together and it has been great!

One of the girls is like this big sister that I never had, she’s smart and fun and we hang out and play sports and other stuff together. The other one is not that bad but we do have our differences. But then again, guess what?

Because of our different work timing I see her for less than an hour the entire week. But she works in sales and is a very good negotiator and was instrumental in bargaining and reducing the rent, brokerage and the initial deposit of the apartment, so win/win here, too.

I literally created this house in my mind and it manifested better than I could have imagined. The law of attraction works magic.
