I am ever so grateful to Rhonda Byrne and her team for bringing The Secret to the world. I hadn’t heard about The Secret until I had seen it on Oprah’s show on TV. It seemed miraculous that thoughts can become things. I went ahead and bought the book and immersed myself in it. To be truthful though, I found it fascinating but I never really applied any of the things in the book until 2014.

I remember in the book that John Assaraf spoke about the powerful impact of vision boards in his life. His example of living in the same house as the one on his vision board brought me goosebumps. Anyway, I thought that I would create a vision board with everything I desired on it.

I call it Vision Cards because I made it the size of a greeting card. I divided it into sections called: Health and Body, Career, Finance and Money, Travel, and things I wanted to own. I made this vision board on July 11th. After sticking the pictures on it, I wrote a gratitude note for each desire on the Vision Cards: “I am so happy and grateful now that _”. Giving thanks for all the things I desired seemed like the right thing to do at the time.

One of the photos I stuck on the card was a photo of the Samsung Galaxy Note 3. When I stuck this picture under the “Things I want to own”, I had no idea how I was going to get the money to buy it but strangely, I didn’t have a shred of doubt. I just gave thanks for it and kept the card in my study table draw.

To my utter amazement, my wish was manifested in 2 days! On July 13th, 2014 I got my Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and everything was just like in the picture, right down to the color of the phone. And, the best part was that I didn’t have to pay a penny! My brother wanted my old phone so I got the Note 3 as a gift from my parents. Imagine that! This is was my very first manifestation and I was so excited about it!

I strongly recommend to everyone to create their own vision board, especially if you are having a tough time manifesting the things you want. It is indeed a powerful tool to use for manifestation. I think it’s ‘Secret’ is that you get so involved while making the board that you are on the same frequency of having your wishes granted. Isn’t that amazing?

I am so grateful that I know that the law of attraction works and that it has really changed my life.
