First of all, I would like to express my deepest gratitude to Rhonda and her team, as well as to all the contributors to The Secret website success stories. Reading all of your stories inspires me a lot and helps me to feel positive.

I recently moved to a new province and city, hundreds of kilometers away from home, where I don’t know anyone at all, all because of the great job that I received. When I was looking for a place to stay, I had a problem with having a bad credit record, and I couldn’t find anyone willing to let me rent a place to stay because of that.

Finally, last week, I found someone who was willing to share their place with me until I sorted out my things because I had a friend I shared a place with. However, the daily expenses of commuting from her place to work and vice versa were taking their toll on me because I had to leave for work at 5 a.m. and leave work to go to her place at 7 p.m., plus the petrol was killing me. I ended up not having enough money to pay all my bills and buy food and petrol. I didn’t even have pots, dishes, or furniture. I was planning to sleep on the floor. I was just grateful that, finally, I found a place 10 minutes closer to work, which was an extra bonus because it meant I could even walk to work.

The weekend came, and I didn’t have any food at all, but I was just grateful because I had paid the rent and deposit to move in, I had my blanket, and I didn’t mind sleeping on the floor.

I decided to repeat the words, “I am a money magnet; money comes to me easily and frequently,” over and over again. On Sunday around noon, I received an alert message on my phone that R300 had been deposited in my account. I was so happy that I kept smiling like a kid in a candy store. I went to the mall and bought some food and petrol as well.

I have known about The Secret for four years but never really used it or taken it to heart. But I realized that on Friday before that weekend, I actually fell asleep reading The Power.

So today is Tuesday, and last night, I finally did my vision board for the very first time. I even included some affirmations about money, and before I went to sleep I kept on repeating these affirmations. The next thing I knew, my sister called me at work, asking me if I had received her message. I told her I didn’t because my phone fell in the water in the morning, so it wasn’t working. Then she says, check your account; I just deposited R500 for you.

If I did not believe before, now I do. The Secret and the law of attraction work. I have tried them, and they have really worked for me. I am living proof.

Be consistent, and believe even when it seems hard. Eventually, it will work; just have faith and be grateful.

Now I am believing that my credit score will be good, and I will be getting my very own apartment. Like Lisa Nichols said, “I know, like I know, like I know, that it’s on its way.”
