Before I begin I would like to thank my parents and The Secret team for allowing me to understand and utilize this life changing information.

I having been using The Secret for about 10 years and will continue to use it. I has helped me lose up to 30 pounds, win a scholarship and graduate with honours in my bachelors. However, my story is just one of the little but “wow” moments, in which the LOA worked for me.

Lately makeup has been a trending practice, especially for young girls. Becoming a fan of all the products out there, I fell in love with the Naked 3 palette from Urban Decay. This was definitely more expensive than other similar types, but I wanted it so bad. In my country a lot of the makeup is more expensive than in the US. So I thought that maybe I can get someone to bring one here for me from the US. I started reading reviews and watching tutorials and thinking, wow, I can do that when I get mine. I assumed I would be able to do all the fabulous looks online that I saw.

Little by little the Universe started aligning things in my favour. My mum was heading to Miami and I asked her to buy it for me at the Sephora store, and I did not want anything else.

My mum messaged me on the first day there saying they were out of stock and that I would have to buy it at home. Though I felt deeply disappointed, I decided life goes on.

When we picked my mum up at the airport she told me that she got the palette another day and told this amazing story. She went back to another Sephora store and the same out of stock story was being told. They called other branches and it was the same thing. She decided to give up and as she was walking out, the store guy called her back saying , “Ma’am wait! I think we have one!”. My mum rushed to find him reaching behind a cupboard where the last one had fell, but was in mint condition. He told her , “This was meant for you! We always check for items before we close.”. And just like that it was in my possession!

One of the things I’ve learnt when applying the LOA is to ask for what you want and then let it go! Do not focus on when and how it will arrive. Things are gonna test your faith just like how the palette was out of stock, but it’s how you handle these situations that will really put you in alignment for receiving. Life is a catalogue and just like you wouldn’t order something twice for clarity, so too must you go about your wishes. Be clear and bold about what you ask for and it will come to you.
