Around 2 months back I completed 2 years in my first company and started looking for a change. I updated my CV and posted on job portals. I kept an eye on emails on a day to day basis. After a week or so I started getting calls and emails regarding job openings for desired positions.

I attended first job interview then a second. I realized the missing topics in my preparations. I prepared well for my next two interviews but again I failed. So the conclusion here was that after four interviews I realized I had a lack in my confidence and much worry as well. Also attending interviews and traveling far for them while doing my job for my current organization wasn’t very easy for me.

Then one day I got an email regarding an opening for a desired position and found my work responsibilities matching very well to it. And a thought came to my mind to forget all previous experiences and prepare for this one. My interview went very well and I felt very positive. I wasn’t thinking how good other candidates are, just telling myself how good I have done. The thoughts in my mind were so positive and satisfying that I stopped looking for a job. I researched and gathered information on the internet about the current company employees, the work culture and projects. I was convinced it matched all I dreamed about for my next company.

Even though I had not had any word from the company about the job offering yet, I started doing things in such a way as if I would be working there. I extended my current train pass from 1 month to the next 3 months. I started working on my handover plans in my current company and I got a new bag for my new work culture.

One month after that interview I got the call and was asked to come for a final interview. I went and the next day I got the call from HR that I have the offer letter. That moment it was unforgettable. That moment was all about faith and belief and it’s all thanks to The Secret!!! It is my precious treasure. Thank you so much for changing my life!!
