I used work in retail with long hours and crappy bosses. At my job we used to have extremely high targets for a month with no incentives or bonuses. My husband and best friend told me to read The Secret which I did, and it was eye opening and mind blowing. I then started visiting the website to read everyone’s testimonies and how I could implement The Secret in my life.

After reading The Secret I started asking the Universe for a job. I became very specific and very detailed about my working hours, type of colleagues, working days, my bosses and how far I wanted the job to be from my home. I then practised The Magic. I would be feeling gratitude every day and I would also listen to a feel good music that had positive words. Slowly I would get visions of my ‘now’ boss, who was my customer, approaching me to ask me if he could hire me. But, I would dismiss that vision and say that it would not happen. I got those visions every day whenever I was not thinking. I then typed my resignation letter and gave it to my manager who did not believe that I was walking away without a plan B. I knew something was coming and I was asked to serve a month’s notice, to which I agreed.

While in my 2 weeks of serving my month’s notice my vision came true! My ‘boss’ walked into the store and asked me to come for an interview the following day, which I did. I went to the interview and I told the receptionist that this was my job. After the interview I then took a stroll at the mall, visualizing what I would be wearing at my new job.

The following morning I got a call from the bosses telling me that I got the job! I was so shocked and so happy! My colleagues are friendly and helpful, my bosses are willing to help and the environment is a positive one, filled with prosperity!
