On February 16, while feeling blue and somewhat down, I decided to skip work and found myself having a pity party, lying in bed much later than usual. You see, my mother passed away on Tuesday January 9, after a courageous battle with end stage renal disease (kidney failure). On January 19, my divorce was final and to add to my ‘poor poor pitiful me’ song, a promising new relationship that I had been involved in for a few months ended on Wednesday January 31. Now I am generally very happy and extremely positive. But on this day, my spirit seemed broken, and my energy level was lacking immensely.

Then, to my surprise, I turned on the television (still lying in bed), and there, on Oprah, was James Ray and Dr. Michael Beckwith. I proceeded to listen to James Ray and Dr. Michael Beckwith, and suddenly I understood why I had missed work that day. I no longer felt lazy lying in bed, I felt comfortable and peaceful. I did, however, get out from under the covers and sat up on the bed as I continued to listen to the words of wisdom flow from the television to my ears.

On Sunday the 18th, I purchased The Secret and read it from head to toe. I went to the website and I became a Secret Member. I started my visualization board and I even wrote a letter to my ex girlfriend, thanking her for giving me all the gifts of a remarkable relationship. In the same letter, I told her that; “I forgive her for walking out on me in my time of need, and that it was my wish that she forgive me for pushing her away.” I would also come to the realization that the actions that took place regarding my divorce were things that I had attracted to me, and that feeling down about the loss of my mother was something that I had manifested as well.

You see, my mother was a universal healer, a reiki master, a massage therapist, an up and coming author, and brave warrior. She had lived longer and stronger than anyone, including myself had ever imagined she would live with her disease. In fact, she lived nearly 3 times longer than any doctor had thought that she would. She often spoke of regenerating her kidneys, and sang out loud every single day, even though there was much pain associated with the disease. She mostly focused on the happiness that surrounded her, and as a result of her universal love, was able to meet hundreds of new people, including 5 grandchildren that the doctors had “informed” us she would never live long enough to meet. Of course she struggled in some areas of her life, and yet the universe gave her me for financial support, and my sister for a home for her to live in, in her final years. She asked, and she received! Her life is to be celebrated, not mourned, and I know she was my mom for a reason. It was not a mistake and I am so blessed to have known her!

Secret members, many wonderful actions continue to take place as I activate the law of attraction. From rubbing elbows with the likes of Forrest Whittaker and Halle Barry on Thursday night the 22nd in Hollywood, to receiving checks in the mail; my life is experiencing magic daily. Literally, I found myself dining in LA at 1 am at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel with millionaires, including a beautiful Hollywood film/television producer who specializes in teen programming. No coincidence, I assure you, as I have been working on a treatment for a children’s show and an animation series for some time now. She gave me her home and cell phone numbers as well as her email address. We have already begun some correspondence. I truly was a beautiful, youthful, brilliant, generous, champion scholar billionaire! It was amazing how I floated around the room attracting so much love and energy at that pre Oscar Party. The law of attraction had even got me to LA in a miraculous, effortless fashion, with minutes to spare. Thank you, thank you, and thank you!
