One afternoon I was just browsing my Facebook newsfeed and my attention was captured by a post from a guy who brought his mom, as treat for her birthday, to Lio Beach Resort where he work in El Nido. If you guys have ever watched a travel vlog about El Nido Palawan on Youtube, it is an irresistible place to visit but it is very expensive. It is expensive enough that we, the locals who live in Palawan, can really just only dream about those expensive resorts. Even though I have been in El Nido many times, I was never able to go to any of it’s resorts.

So as I looked the pictures on my Facebook feed,I felt like a child, amazed with the beauty of nature and I said to myself that I will visit this resort one day, believing that all I had to do was to visualize about it for it to come true. I did just that but then I forgot about it and never tried to do another visualization about it again.

About a week later, a friend of mine said she is driving to El Nido and asked if I wanted to come with her. On the drive I wondered why the Universe brought this travel to me, what was the purpose? That night another friend took us to Lio Beach Resort! Later that night as I was looking at pictures, I suddenly remembered the moment when I had been browsing my newsfeed and saw that resort. That was when I realized that this was the reason that the Universe brought this travel to me, to accomodate my dream!

The Universe has its own way of surprising us when we least expect it. When we have no attachment at all.
