I have been practicing The Secret and The Power on and off for a couple of years now. I have had mixed results, up to now! I wanted to share this story with people because it has taught me a valuable lesson about The Secret, and that is to let go and have faith that the universe will find a way. It certainly did!

I had been desperate for money, and bills were piling up. I was behind repaying my debts and I had no idea how I was going to pay them. My business was in dire straits. My husband was having to cover all household payments and he doesn’t earn enough to do this. In short, things were bad.

I had been reading The Power, watching the visualisations, and practicing affirmations, and NOTHING had changed. I was due to go on a long weekend break to see my family with a very limited budget, and I felt fed up that I had no money despite all my attempts. I decided just to enjoy myself anyway and feel as much love as I possibly could. So I did. I completely forgot about The Secret and The Power as I had finally lost faith that this process worked.

When I returned from my break there was an email waiting for me saying that I have been left £6,000 from a relative who had died nearly a year ago! I had no idea that I had been left anything, so I was in complete shock and very, very happy. I have been able to pay my bills, some of my debts, and invest a little in my business. This money has saved me.

My belief in this process has now been restored and I have realised that I must let go in order to receive.
