The first time I heard about “The Secret” was in 2015. I was just asked to resign from my bank job involuntarily and was almost falling into depression before my dad encouraged me to start my Masters. My dad was responsible for my tuition and upkeep as I barely had any money left from the 5 month period that I worked with the bank. I have this friend who believed strongly in the law of attraction and the Universe. He told me about The Secret, and he also played the video for me but in all honesty, it was all vague to me.

Fast forward to  5 years later, after the Covid pandemic was easing out, an ex told be about The Secret again. However, this time I took time to read the various books by Rhonda Byrne, The Magic, The Secret, and The Power. But is was How The Secret Changed My Life, Real People, Real Stories, that actually changed my life.

In that book, the part where you need to have a vision board and and also the part where you withdraw abundance from the Universe using The Universe check, or The Secret Check, took me to another level by visualizing, imagining and focusing to emit the right energy. People wrote different stories about how they withdrew from the Universe. Then I read that if you don’t believe that it works, you can start small, write a sum you wish for on the check, and that was what I did. I also wrote down what type of job and wanted and when I wanted it.

Two years later, the type of job and the date I wrote that my new job would manifest, all happened!!  I wrote that I wanted a job that would make me leave Nigeria, and that it would pay me 4 times what I was currently earning. Also the people I would work with are kind and I enjoy every day that I go to this job. Lo and behold, this job manifested! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

It was after I got the job that I revisited my vision board from over 2 years ago to see that what I had written down on my vision board had actually manifested. Although not all of it had manifested, I strongly believe for some very good reasons that the rest will manifest very soon.

After seeing this, I quickly I made another vision board and wrote bigger things on it. This time, I wrote that I want to earn in the world’s strongest currency, and this job will help me migrate permanently with my wife and child to give them the life I never had. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
