Hello awesome people! I am sharing an unbelievable turn of events in my life which has made me an ardent practitioner of The Secret! I am so grateful about all that has worked out for me, especially when I was broken and shattered. Without much ado, here is my story.

I was in a very cozy job but was extremely unhappy with my work. I wanted to take up a certain line of profession but my company wasn’t doing so well and hence, wasn’t able to offer me what I wanted. This led to a lot of anxiety and apprehension since I had to do many things I didnt want to do at work and I felt absolutely directionless. During this period, I got an opportunity which seemed shiny, exclusive and tailor made for me. It came at a time when I was very low and felt there wasn’t going to be any other company offering me a job. While I wasn’t sure of this opprtunity, I still took it. It had a couple of red flags in regards to the extended travel, poor work life balance and brand name but I overlooked all that because I loved the role.

Within a week of me joining the new company, I realized how wrong I was. The culture was pathetic and my boss had changed suddenly from what he was before I joined. I felt absolutely helpless and remorseful. It was the toughest time in my career and personal life.

That’s when I turned entirely to The Secret practices. I made a Gratitude Journal and practiced affirmations. Despite what I was going through, I only focused on how happy I’d be if I lived my perfect life. I’d say that was easier said than done. I did have moments and days of dismay but I would overturn those moments by reading stories on this website. They filled me with hope and happiness.

I gave a couple of interviews during this period of 3 months. Each time no one got back to me and I’d be very disappointed. My interviews would go well but somehow, nothing was materializing. At the same time, my job security was at stake and I wasn’t certain of my role at my current job.

What I realized was that I was doing everything right except for “letting go”. That was the leap of faith I needed to take. I got another offer but I felt it would be a compromise. While I was wanting to get out of my current situation, I didnt want to land in another tough one.

That was when I took a leap of faith and rejected the offer, despite having the desperate need to have one. This was the moment when I clearly declared to the Universe that I was all in for getting my dream job, in my dream role with a great company.

That’s when a miracle started unfolding. My ex boss called me. She had mentioned to me a junior role on her team over a month ago but I was fairly senior for it and hence had let it go. This time she called me to tell me that the role had been revised to a senior one and I fit the bill perfectly!

Yes, this was the Universe responding to me right now! The rest was how you would expect, all the interviews were flawless and within a very short duration offer! Thank you, thank you, thank you to God and the Universe.

I urge my fellow readers to practice The Secret on a regular basis and keep going. Remember, the sun rises only after the darkest hour so dont be low if things get worse. Just be persistent in your belief and you will be blessed with your heart’s desires.
