I am a 24 year old guy who lives in India. My battle began in the early 2000s when I was a teenager. I was not a beautiful person. I had crooked teeth and pimples on my face, and my hair was bad. I was thin, and I had two big moles on my face, so because of all these things, I was not confident at all. Other boys used to bully me and the girl that I liked rejected my proposal 12 times in one year. I heard her saying to her friend one day in class, “Have you seen his face? How does he expect me to be his girlfriend?” Yes, these were the exact words that she had said. I still remember this, and when I heard these words, they penetrated my heart like poisoned arrows. I ran to a lonely place and cried, looked up in the sky, and said, why have you not blessed me with beauty, why have you not made me handsome? Then I asked God to make me the most handsome person around.

I came back to my house and looked at myself in the mirror. I saw a lot of flaws. Everything was so bad that I did not know what to do, so I decided to start working on my confidence level. I read a lot of things regarding how to increase your confidence. And I literally used to stand in front of the mirror, look into my eyes, and say, “I am confident,” and “I love myself” like ten times in a row. It was a really powerful exercise.

At that time, I did not know anything about positive affirmation science and how it affects our lives, but I used to feel good about saying this. Then I started doing things that made me feel much better about myself, like watching my favorite show on TV, playing my favorite sport, and buying myself some new clothes. Basically, I did everything that used to make me feel happy.

I used to look in the mirror and say,
I am confident.
I am sexy.
I am charming.
I am hot.
I am handsome.
My body is great.
My hair is perfect.
I am a lady magnet.
I am drop dead gorgeous.
I have an impressive personality.
I love myself.

I said all of that and several other things. Then slowly, all of these affirmations started to manifest. With time, having a positive mindset, and working on myself, I am now a handsome man with a hot girlfriend, I get a lot of respect, and I get treated like a superstar. Now, I am working towards becoming a real superstar.
