I decided to share my story so people know that no matter is happening in your life you can change it for the positive. The changes happened to me over a period of days, weeks and months and are continuing.

I had a really good job, a job that I thought I should do as the money was great and it ticked off a vast amount of boxes but I got ill and had to take time out. I won’t go into the illness but I was not able to work. I got so fed up and cried for nearly two days, on and off. Then one night I woke up and I couldn’t go back to sleep and I said out loud, God, how can I use this free time, how can I turn this into a positive.

Two days later I had an appointment and the person driving me had to drop me off an hour earlier so I took a stroll to get a cup of tea. I passed a charity shop window and saw some books and thought I might find something to read. As I looked through the books I found a DVD of The Secret. I put it down and kept looking through the books but I felt I had to go back and buy it.

I watched it that night and many times after that and I still do today. Then I started my research and I was amazed. I started reading everything I could lay my hands on. If someone brought me a magazine it would have something about the law of attraction or I would get an email that seemed to draw me back to it. I was given the book, The Power, by someone who said they were drawn to buy it for me.

So I started meditating every day for a few minutes. I gave gratitude for my health for every day and I got better. If anyone said anything negative I flipped it.

Life has changed so much for me now. I am only drawing positive events and people into my life.

I have started working again, but at a job that has made me happier than I could ever imagine and I am so excited. Also I have a business of my own on the side with a family member that is going from strong to stronger. Oh, where did the money come from, you ask. It was so wonderful! Money came back from some insurance I had, they said they had overcharged me. I got tax refunds, an ex employer gave me money he had not paid me for holidays and money just seems to keep coming from random places.

Now, every day I still write a list of what I am grateful for and I feel it. I thank God through the day for even the little things. I give to charity because I know that going into that charity shop helped me so much. I visualise and I read and learn as I think you need to keep learning about the law of attraction and positivity, and I share it with others. It is not a chore, it is a wonderful part of my day. I have a wonderful life and amazing people to share it with.
