Business was rather slow during the months of January to March. There was no money coming into the business, but the endless piles of bills were stacking up. Bill, my husband, and I were getting so stressed out it was beginning to fray our nerves which were already stretched to the limits. Everything that could go wrong did. We did not know if we would even have any money left to pay our rent for the business or the apartment where we lived. After struggling to make ends meet for the last few years we did not know what else to do.

Now I had learned about the Law of Attraction two years ago, through a very good friend I used to work with. By browsing the website for more info, I got into the websites of Bob Proctor, Jack Canfield, Carol Look, Alan Tutt, Bob Doyle, the self improvement Ebooks Team, and a number of other kind people who sent me a lot of free material and info. My sincere thanks go out to them for helping our family change our lives. My husband Bill and I have been reading all the materials we received, and did manage to manifest a few wonderful things in our life. The best one being that our 13 year old daughter, who had been seriously ill with eczema for close to two years, was able to get rid of it almost completely in a few months of learning to visualize a clear skin free of the dreadful eczema.

She probably had the worst kind of eczema, as it covered her entire body, including her face and every inch of her head. There were days when she could not bend her arms and knees and had to be fed through a straw as her lips were terribly sore too. She had numerous allergies to fish, nuts, soya, milk, eggs, lentils, and a dozen other foods. In addition she had Anaphylaxis, a life threatening allergy to nuts, and had to carry an Epi Pen with her at all times. She was actually being treated at the Sick Kids Hospital in Toronto for eczema. She had to bathe 5 times a day and apply the necessary medicated creams 5 times a day as well. Her allergies seemed to make her eczema worse. We had spent hundreds of dollars on her medication, as the health insurance we had did not cover Eczema or Allergies.

Learning about the Law of Attraction helped me teach her to control the stress she had at school, which was making her illness worse. She now eats anything and everything, and is completely cured of the Anaphylaxis and allergies. She learned to be more confident and positive. When we took her to the allergist for a test, since the school required a letter to say she was now allergy free, he just refused to believe that she cured herself by being positive.

To get back to my story about the business … on the way to work, on Maundy Thurday, I decided to visualize lots of customers coming into our business and the phones ringing off the hook. Bill thought I was daydreaming in the Van, so he asked me what I was dreaming about. I told him that I was actually visualizing that lots of customers would come to our office that day. Then straight off I told him we would be having a lot of business that day and we may not be able to handle it.

We run a wholesale courier company giving discounts to small to medium scale businesses and individuals, which they would not get if they went directly to the large courier carriers. Usually the mornings are always quiet. By 11 am we had the phones ringing off the hook. A client, who had not done business with us for over a year, phoned us. They had 23 boxes to send to Calgary and those boxes had to be sent out by express service for the following Monday (Easter Monday) delivery. Bill brought the packages to our location and along the way picked up quite a few other packages. The phones had been ringing incessantly all day, and being alone in the office I was having a tough time handling it all on my own. In the meantime, customers were just walking in. And to add to all that turmoil, the client who had 23 boxes called back to say she had another 33 to send out and it had to go out the same day, all express service as well. It being Maundy Thursday, the roads were a mess. Bill got to the office with the other boxes around 7:00pm. None of the drivers, assigned by the carrier for our location, was willing to wait while I processed the shipments. By sheer luck, or was it by manifestation, we got one of our awesome drivers who worked in an area close by to help us.

On Good Friday we went by the office to track the shipments and hope they all got on to the plane as scheduled. On Monday morning, Bill was looking through the carrier’s website to track the packages again since they were due for delivery at 10:30 am. What a shock he got when he noticed that there was no further movement on the shipments. Instantly, he called the preferred rep. department of the carrier and was told that the packages were put on the truck for onward delivery by ground services, and would not be delivered until 3-4 days later. Bill was aghast that they could do something silly like putting the express delivery packages on a truck. Especially as it was a fairly large shipment. A truck number was also provided to him.

Not believing what he had just heard, thinking that it could have been an error, and in order to confirm again that there was an error in the carrier’s shipping system, he called their toll free number again hoping to get transferred to another representative who would have a better answer for him. Unfortunately, he was told once again the same story. She went a step forward and checked their internal system as well. She also provided the truck number. I believe he called a third time and was told the same thing. By this time Bill was furious. The shipping charges itself were worth almost $5000 and he was almost tearing his hair out… He tried calling some of the top Management of the Carrier Company but was unable to find anyone since everyone seemed to be in some meeting or another, at just that time.

All the time I was looking on and wondering if they could have made a mistake. So I went to Bill, told him to put aside everything and just visualize that all the packages were on the plane and that they would be delivered by 12:00 noon our time. I glanced at my watch which was showing the time as 11:30 am. Well at first Bill was so furious he completely ignored me. So I asked him once again to just do what I had asked him to. Angrily, he turned to me and said, “How do you expect me to visualize when three customer service representatives told me the packages were on the truck and even provided the truck number?”

I thought I’d give it another try and asked him to close his eyes and visualize that the packages were on the plane and would be delivered by 12:00 noon. Well… he did close his eyes and thinking he was visualizing I went to my desk and did the same thing.

We were also in the process of moving our office, as our lease was up for renewal in a couple of weeks and we had just found another location. The real estate agent, Jan, also a very good client and friend, had been hanging around our office for about close to two hours, trying to get Bill to sign the new lease. But being so taken up with the problem of the packages he ignored her as well, and the dear lady had to just stand by and wait.

Sometime later I heard Bill call my name, in a soft tone of voice. At first I ignored him. Again he called out to me in the same tone. Something in his voice told me that things had changed. I walked into his office to see him, face in his hands, staring at his computer screen. All 55 packages had been delivered. He called the customer services again and was told by the representative that her screen was still showing that the packages were on the truck. She could not believe that the packages were delivered. So we had to actually call our client in Calgary and ask if they did in fact receive the packages.

Even more surprising was the timing. Ditto 12:00pm on my watch. Just as I had asked Bill to visualize… that the packages would be delivered at 12:00pm.

Bill and I strongly believe the force and power at work, to help us achieve this amazing fete, was none other than God, who in our minds is the Universe.

Jan, still standing by to sign the lease, and who only recently learned about the law of attraction, could not believe how this story unfolded. She actually had goose bumps all over her arms trying to take it in.

Our office rent was quite high at $1500 a month and in order to be able to begin to save some money and pay off our debts, Bill and I had visualized a new office at a good location for a rent between $800 and $900. Our dream was realized once again when Jan told us that she had found us just the place for $864 plus taxes totaling $917.

This morning Bill was talking about calling our phone supplier in again to reset our phones lines, which were not connected properly. The customer service department told him we would have to pay if they sent their technician in a second time. While we were debating on how much it would cost to get this done, I burst out, “Just let them do it, and the money will come in some how to pay for this job”. Two minutes later he receives a call from Yellow Pages to tell us that since our website was not showing up on their site for the last 9 months they are giving us a credit for $580.

This is just a few of the good things that have happened to us lately. If I had to write about everything good that has happened to us lately, I could fill an entire book.

I aim to encourage everyone to put more effort into visualizing a better life for themselves rather than worrying about the unnecessary things in life and stressing out for no reason at all, like we have been doing in the past. It just ruins your life. Just be in the present moment and things will take care of themselves. We still have a long way to go, but our faith is getting stronger, and we know with God’s guidance and love we will get there somehow.
