I have known about The Secret since November of last year but nothing really had happened to me. My life was still the same and it made me want to give up and stop believing in The Secret sometimes.

So today The Secret put me to the test.

Last week I lost a laundry card. My mom was pretty mad. At our apartment we can only use the card to wash our clothes so we didn’t wash anything.

Then this week my step dad went to get a new card and he had to pay for it. He put money on the card and in the morning my mom told me to go wash all the clothes. So I did, and while I was putting my clothes into a washing machine there was an old lady in the room so we talked and we just knew that we live next to each other.

I set the time for 35 minutes to go to the laundry room again and put the clothes into a dryer. But 35 minutes later I could not find my laundry card. I went to the laundry but still couldn’t find it. I tried to find it every where in my room but I still couldn’t find it. I couldn’t even remember where I put it.

I swear at that time I almost cried because I just lost another one last week and there was 30 dollars on this card. Now I will lose this one that my step dad just bought again. “Mom is going to kill me” that was all I thought!

I was so worried and thought about what I was gonna do when mom comes home. But then I remembered a story on this website that I read a while ago about some one losing her dog. She found it because she used The Secret by acting like her dog was already home. So I was like OK, I’m gonna do this.

I sat down on the floor, relaxed, closed my eyes, then said to myself “I know where the card is. I know where the card is.” I kept saying that for like, not even five minutes before someone knocked on my door. I thought it was my step dad, but when I opened it it was the old lady that I met in the laundry room.

She said “Jennifer found a laundry card, I think it might be yours.”

You have no idea how happy I was when she told me that. I kept saying thank you to her even when she already left!

I still kept saying this magic word. Thank you, thank you, thank you so so so so much.

Now I finally truly believe in The Secret. Thanks to Rhonda and the people on The Secret Team for sharing this secret to others. I am truly grateful for knowing this secret. I promise I will also keep sharing this to other people too.
