This spring I was planning to get a kitten from a friend’s cat that had just had kittens.

I prepared everything for the arrival of my baby. I read books about cat care and I bought a sleeping hole for her. They were still babies so I would have to wait for a month to take her.

In this waiting time I changed my mind. I wouldn’t be able to take her because I saw the mess they created, and the smell, and I believed I would not have enough time for her and so on… I wanted the perfect cat and decided I won’t take her.

So the 3 kittens found another family. I took all the books (I had read them already) back to the library and put the sleeping hole into the closet. I forgot about it quickly.

This was in the middle of August 2009. On 4th September we had a celebration at work and after I came home at midnight I went for a walk, though it was raining. Suddenly I saw a small kitten come running to me… a very beautiful 5-coloured cat, maybe 5 months old! 🙂 And she followed me walking through the whole town. At my door she sat before me and looked at me like she was saying, “Please take me with you.” 🙂

Since then, I let her out every day and every day she is waiting for me outside my door! Now I would not give her away for anything!! She is the perfect cat, just like I dreamed of before… 😉

I had already caused the arrival of a cat in my life by reading the books and buying the items, and even as I changed my mind and didn’t take the cat as planned, she would come out of the dark some day on a midnight walk!! :-))
