If you’ve ever heard Bob Marley’s song “Three Little Birds”, pay attention to the lyrics a little closer next time. This is the song I sing at the top of my lungs each and every morning now while giving thanks to the Father for all that I have and for giving me another day on earth to finally LIVE and LOVE the right way.

Most of my past life, I say past because that is no longer who I AM, I’ve walked a path of negativity. Blaming the world and God for all the bad things in my life. Not once taking the time to look inside of myself to see how I may be contributing to this constant flow of “bad luck”. Jesus said, “Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” And also, “Assuredly, I say to you, unless you are converted and become as little children, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven.” I never knew what these verses meant until now.

You must be saying, what does becoming like a child again have to do with The Secret? Have you ever noticed how carefree children are? They don’t worry about their next meal or what they’re going to wear for the day. They just know that it will be there when they want or need it. Their only concern in this world is “Playing and Having Fun”! “Food and clothes can wait, until I’m done having fun!”

As we get older and gain more “responsibilities”, we get so busy worrying about the bills and the cares of the world that we forget to have fun and appreciate all that we have everyday! When’s the last time you pretended to be an astronaut or your favorite Super Hero? Went outside and played tag football on the street or Hide & Go Seek with the neighborhood kids?

As a father to a 3 year old boy and after reading The Secret and Magic, I finally understood the above verses and why my life seemed to be in disarray. So, I tested the Knowledge I received from the Universe. That day, yesterday, was the happiest I have ever been in my life in quite some time!

I listened to fun uplifting music, played football with my son, bounced on the bed with him, danced to the Fresh Beat Band’s Go Bananas Song like a dork (that song is now my ringtone) and just had fun! Throughout the entire day, not one negative thought crossed my mind and if it did, it vanished and was replaced with something positive just as fast as it entered my mind. I smiled all day and thanked the Father every second for all that I have and had and for the peace of mind that accompanied me all day.

Although I have just begun my journey and am awaiting all that I asked the Universe to provide me, I believe with an abundance of faith that my wish is the Universe’s command and I have already received it. The Father has given my soul peace through knowledge of Truth, and that truth came in the form of The Secret. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You Rhonda!
