Dear Rhonda,

All I wanted to do is to say THANK YOU. I am so grateful that the universe brought you into my life. It was June, Friday the 13th – my lucky day as I always told myself (my daughter was born on that day; how could it be anything else but). I was going on a long driving trip, and when I have to do that I always borrow books on tape from the library to make the journey more pleasant. I have had The Secret book in my house since Christmas, and told myself many times to read it, but you know the excuses – no time, another day, later…
When I went to the library, guess what – they had The Secret on DVD – just released, so I got excited and got that for my trip (amongst other books which I never got to listen to).

I listened to it and could not believe what I was hearing. I listened more and more, and the more I listened the more excited I was getting. This was available to me all along and I didn’t know it? All these years it was there? I have had a good life, I am not complaining, and many times gave thanks for what I have, but The Secret put a totally different perspective on my life.

I just bought a Wii gaming system for my husband for his birthday and Father’s day. He really wanted a Wii Fit – which is a new game for that system and nowhere to be found. I thought that it would be so wonderful to be able to give him the system for Father’s day and then the game a week later for his birthday. There was not much hope as the game was sold out everywhere.

I used the visualization technique and imagined holding the game in my hands and told the universe that I wanted to have it by next Thursday. I really believed that it was going to happen and was very excited to see how and when. There was no doubt in my mind “if”, just “when and how”. The next day I went shopping with my brother and his family, and walking into this big department store I noticed someone had this game in their shopping cart. They had the game at that store – and I GOT IT!!!! They didn’t have many, and half an hour later they were all gone, but I GOT IT!!!! I was literally jumping for joy. I think some people looked at me wondering, but I was just so excited.

Thank you Rhonda for changing my life. Thank you so very much for making the decision to share this wonderful news with others. Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you thank you, thank YOU!!!! And also thank you for teaching me to say thank you and to feel it, to truly BE grateful. I have noticed that even if I don’t feel it right a way, when I ‘thank you’ many times I start feeling the joy and total happiness. Thank you for that!!!

You must be getting a ton of emails with everyone’s stories – this one is just a thank you note from me to YOU and I wish for it to get to you so my goal of personal gratitude is fulfilled.
