I promised myself that if I manifested my desire today I would tell all of you my story to hopefully give others hope. It is a long story so I will try and keep it shortish!

I first come across the law of attraction and The Secret during a terrible breakup 13 years ago. I am not religious but always hoped there was something magical out there. I was searching the library shelves for self-help books and there was The Secret book, then I saw that The Secret DVD was available to borrow too! It was like everything I needed was there and waiting. One book lead to another, and people started entering my life that believed in it too. I kept borrowing that library book over and over until my mum bought me my own version for Christmas.

I dabbled in and out of the LOA over the years but would slip back into my negative ways. Little things happened over the years that I could not explain and they would remind me to believe.

My biggest manifestation was my boyfriend. One evening I listed out the qualities I would like then I wrote please send me the perfect person for me on the notes on my phone. I forgot about it and found it a year later. That was when I realized that every word on that paper described my new boyfriend! I say thank you for him every day. That was when I thought that this stuff really works. I still didn’t practice it every day though.

Then during the COVID pandemic, I hit a very low point. I had been doing professional exams at work and got ill from the pressure. I was failing the exams and was getting bad reviews. My confidence and self-esteem hit an all-time low. One day I was searching through a drawer and I spotted my copy of The Secret book and picked it back up. I listened to the other books on audio when I did chores. I listened to podcasts whilst I ran. That is when things started to change, and suddenly I started passing the exams!

Today I found out the results from the final paper, a case study. It was the hardest one of them all. I passed! I can only think it was the law of attraction. I got into a routine of reading these Secret stories every morning before I looked at anything else. I would list the things I was grateful for and then set my intention for the day. On the day of the exam, I asked the Universe to send me the perfect question for me and it did! It was on the one topic I knew inside out. Then when doubt set in during the months of waiting for the results, I said to myself, “Imagine if I pass…..” then I would think of all the amazing things it would mean.

Last night when anxiety and doubt were kicking in I read these Secret stories. People kept talking about asking for signs and a few asked for yellow cars. So I said, “Please Universe, send me a sign that everything will be OK tomorrow, please send me a yellow car.”

Two minutes later a yellow car appeared on the TV screen! I then went to sleep calmly and woke up feeling hopeful.
