I am currently in the final year of completion of my Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering. On July 2012 I bought Rhonda’s book “The Magic”, before that I had read The Secret. I followed each and every step recommended in The Magic though I read it at a slower pace than usual.

Suddenly after reading the book and following it’s practices, I was full of gratitude. My outlook towards the world had changed and I was a different person. I followed all the gratitude practices very thoroughly and the Universe was giving me something good everyday. For example, if I used to take a cab ride from my college to home I would always thank the cab driver for his services.

There is one chapter about the wish list, where I wrote down my top 10 wishes on a paper in the month of August 2012. One of those was to get a god job before December 2012. I visualized myself getting an appointment letter from a firm and the interviewer shaking hands with me after the interview. I used to visualize about all my top 10 desires at least twice a day while travelling or in a lecture.

I appeared for the recruitment procedures of 4 companies and even reached the Personal Interview stage with one of them (an Indian Automobile Major), but didn’t get selected. I didn’t loose hope, as I always knew that gratitude always works. On October 3rd, 2012, I went for another recruitment drive at 7:00 AM. I was somewhat depressed due to rejection in the previous interview, but as the Universe would have it, everything went smooth and I gave the personal interview by 10:00 PM!

The result was announced today, October 9th, and I am the only one to get selected from all the colleges in my region! The firm I got into is a management consulting MNC and I love it as I always wanted to get into the management field.

Gratitude worked so fast for me that the list which I made in August 2012 has already fulfilled one of my wishes. Today I crossed out one wish out that wish off my list and the feeling is unparalleled.
