My husband and I were in Atlantic City celebrating my father-in-law’s 88th birthday.

The night we arrived, my husband suddenly announced he lost his wallet with $1300 cash in it. He was horrified! In order to salvage the weekend, I immediately and firmly instructed him to “Relax, someone religious is going to find your wallet and will return it with all the money in it!” Well, I reminded him a couple of times during the weekend and he was able to relax and enjoy himself for the most part.

Monday morning we got a call from American Express indicating that a woman found his wallet and wants us to call her. We called and drove back down to Atlantic City to meet her. Her story of finding the wallet was incredible!

She got up late for her conference Sunday morning and told us she is never late! She took the wrong bus after taking the right bus to the conference for three days. She is a minister of a women’s group and she presented us with a Bible when we arrived. She said she found the wallet intact on the floor of the jitney right behind the driver. The most amazing thing is that my husband lost the wallet on Friday night when we took the bus to visit a friend at another hotel! That wallet was sitting in the jitney for two days waiting for her (very religious) to find it! The money was all there and we insisted on giving her $300 for her ministry despite her protests.

This event was truly a miracle based on the power of expectation and creation!
