My story is about my perfect partner. I did everything the book suggested. Made a list of all the qualities I wanted in my partner, made space in my life and home, practiced gratitude for him everyday. I even had a particular person in mind. But things didn’t work out and I was disappointed. I kept wondering where I had gone wrong. But I decided to let go and left the task of finding a perfect partner to the Universe. Then a few months ago I met a wonderful man and things progressed very quickly!

At first I was apprehensive, but then I read this quote on The Secret Daily Teachings: “When it comes to love relationships, people often think they want a particular person. But if you think about it deeply, it is not a particular person that they want. What they want is to be blissfully happy with the perfect person. Yet they still try to tell the Universe WHO that person is. If the Universe isn’t delivering, then the message is loud and clear: I just checked twenty years ahead and the bliss and happiness you deserve will not happen in this relationship.”.

Why is it that we think we know more than the one who can see everything?

Now I know that the Universe is watching over me and that my future with my perfect partner will be filled with happiness! After all the Universe picked him for me.
