I am writing this story with the hope of inspiring others, just as The Secret success stories have inspired me every day. I have known about The Secret for five years now, and I am well aware of how incredible life can be when put into practice, and how challenging life can be when focusing on the negative. I have experienced both, and I can assure you that life is more beautiful when you are focused on pure joy, love, and happiness.

It took a major event for me to revisit “The Secret” and start living and practicing its principles every day. This helped me rebuild my confidence and understand my true self again. Words cannot express my deep gratitude to Rhonda and The Secret team. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I have always worked as a hairstylist since graduating from high school. Talking to others and making them feel good about themselves has always been my passion. I’ve always had what others called “unrealistic dreams” about where I wanted to go and grow in my career, but I knew the law of attraction and knew because I believed and had so much love for what I was doing that things would just happen. I knew that working as a paid stylist, I would never be able to keep doing what I love for a living; there is no vacation pay, sick days, or retirement options, and you are only paid minimum wage. But I could never find it in myself to leave to pursue another career option.

But after six years in the industry, my current salon faced me with a heart-wrenching decision. To either quit the salon I was at and relocate to another salon or take the chance to rent my chair and become my own business. Being 23 years old this was a huge chance! But I took it as a sign from the Universe. I had to have attracted this, this had to be my chance; so before I filled my mind with doubt I simply agreed to give it a try! And what happened next was amazing!!!

Preparing for it became so easy! The items I needed to buy went on sale, and upgrading my license, which was usually hard and took a couple of weeks, was settled in one day; my clients became even more supportive and proud of me for taking this chance and referred their friends and family! I just could not believe it. When deciding on a name, I had to include the word “love” because I love what I do and do my job with love each and every day!

The process of registering my new business name was hassle-free, as was setting up business accounts and finding ways to process credit cards on my own. I learned that when the universe offers, and you accept, the Universe will guide you and make things possible if you just believe!

Sometimes I wonder how I got this opportunity but for all of you reading this, just know that the Universe is always giving you signs and opportunities. You get to choose how you react to them. I am just so fortunate I did, and that I know The Secret. Practicing The Magic every day will be an essential tool that I will use to grow my business, along with passing the books on to any clients having a bad current situation or looking for a good read!
