My work colleagues had arranged to go out for a meal after payday and even though I said I’d go, I really didn’t want to. I like my work colleagues but I like my Friday nights and weekends to be away from work and not having to think about it so I’m never keen to join anything they plan on a Friday night.

Having already said yes, I then asked the Universe to get me out of going. Well, the date of the meal got closer and closer and I had no excuse not to go and there was no sign from the Universe about how I was going to get out of this. When Friday came I decided to leave work early so that I could go and do a few things before meeting up with everyone later on. About an hour before I left work my head started to hurt. So I took a migraine tablet as it felt like a migraine was starting to come on and went to meet a friend for coffee before going to the hairdressers. When I left the hairdressers my head was really hurting so I went home, laid down, and fell asleep for a couple of hours. When I woke up my head was really hurting with a proper migraine so I messaged a colleague to say I wouldn’t be able to make the meal.

I got out of the meal but not in a way that I had expected! It might have been last minute but the Universe delivered for me once again!
