I am grateful to be a part of this lovely group of people. I would also like to seize this opportunity to say a big thank you to Rhonda for all the tremendous work. This was before I had watched The Secret.

I grew up in Accra, Ghana. As a kid, I was very fascinated by aeroplanes. I used to run out into the yard to watch them fly past all the time. My folks told me that the aeroplane carries people to a faraway land ‘behind’ the sea.

One day I told my family that I was also going to sit inside an aeroplane and travel to the land behind the sea. No one believed me because no one in my immediate family had ever embarked on such an adventure. I would get asked questions like, with who, or how do I intend to finance it, and where or with whom would I lodge? Funny enough, the logical thinkers did not deter me. I always answered with, “Wait and see, I will travel in an aeroplane. How I will do it? Where will I stay? I don’t know!”

Fast forward to when I was 18 years old and enrolled in university. I was watching a popular TV show called, ‘Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?’ when the host advertised a contest. He said that by sending a text message to a short code, ten lucky people would be selected to be featured on the show. I thought that I had nothing to lose by doing it. Just one text message and I might have the opportunity to become a millionaire. So I sent the text.

A couple of days later, I got a call confirming that I had been selected to participate in the show! I was shocked. The best part was when the caller asked me if I had a valid passport, I said yes, I have a passport! Then I asked him why. Unknown to me, the WWTBM show studio was located in Lagos, Nigeria. The organizers in Ghana fly all the participants from Accra to Lagos to record the show! I turned up at the airport and flew from Accra to Lagos free of charge. I was lodged in a five-star hotel free of charge. Ask, believe, (feel), and receive. It was that simple!

Even though my first time on an aeroplane was not to fly to a land behind the sea, I did receive that desire a couple of years later under similar circumstances. I got an opportunity to further my studies, out of the blue!

Currently, I reside permanently in Germany and travel on an aeroplane anytime I want. I am also very grateful to be able to extend an invitation to my immediate family to visit me and to come and see the land behind the sea.

The Universe always sorts out the ‘how’ when you really believe. Thank you for reading my story and I am grateful for the opportunity to share my experiences with this wonderful community. Wish you all a blissful day.
