The Secret was introduced to me by my sister-in-law, Betty.

In September of 2010 I joined Silpada Designs Sterling Silver Jewelry Company. Within 77 days of becoming a representative, I became a “Star Leader” with the company. I had earned a trip to a Leadership Conference in New Orleans to be with the top 2% of the entire company. At this point, I had not even heard of the book, The Secret. I guess I was already a positive person since all the other representatives were totally amazed at how quickly I had achieved what I did.

Then, my up-line, Sheila Sardinha, shared with me that I was in contention to become one of the companies “Rookie Recruiters of the Year”. I learned the qualifications to become one and, at first, thought it may be impossible. That is when Betty, my sister-in-law shared The Secret with me.

It only took me a short time to digest the book and thought to myself….”I can do this!” So my thoughts began to manifest on the stage of Silpada National Conference. I burnt candles and envisioned my outcome.

Needless to say, within a couple of months of reading the book and within 10 months of signing on with Silpada, I walked the national stage in front of thousands of Silpada reps from around the country. Apparently my picture was on a big screen on either side of the stage as I was walking to get the trophy ushered by a nice man in black tux and white gloves!

I earned 4th place Nationwide Rookie Recruiter of the Year in 2011 with Silpada and received free jewelry, a sterling silver charm, and a fabulous trophy which I cherish to this day!
