I have 2 stories to share. One is more of a cautionary tale, speaking powerfully of how, if one does not know how The Secret works, you can indeed attract what you do not want. The second, is a much happier story!

I had seen The Secret some years ago and not paid much mind to it. About 2 years ago, I was driving my son to high school where he mentioned that the day before he had been in the city with a friend and had seen an accident where someone had run a red light, and how scary that was. I told him, it doesn’t matter how good a driver you are, you never know when someone might run a red light and hit you. I dropped him off, turned to leave the school, and as the light turns green and I start to go, WHAM a car runs the light and hits me! How amazing that we had just been discussing this situation and I had been thinking about people running the light and causing accidents! Luckily, although my car was totaled I was completely fine.

Now for the good story. I lost my job over 3 years ago, went back to school and then started job hunting, with no luck. I started this year thinking I need two things in my life: a relationship, and a job. I did get a couple of short contract jobs but not the job I needed to continue with my life and use the skills I had learned. While this was going on I had lunch with an old friend, who mentioned The Secret and offered to send me a copy, which she did. I watched the movie several times, then purchased the book. I tried to use some of the methods.

Early in the year I met a very kind and loving man and we are very happy together. Not long ago, trying to utilize more of the techniques, I purchased The Magic. I have completed only 8 days of the 21, this week I had 3 job interviews and have been offered a job from one already! This job will use my skills and offer me many learning opportunities as well! I am very excited to start the New Year with my new man and my new job! This really does work. I am proof of both the bad and the good!
