In 2006 I was mobilized with the Army in Ft Knox, Kentucky. My children were grown but my 3 boys were not doing too well in life. They were home in Alabama. My life was chaos. It was so bad people didn’t want to hear my drama and started staying away from me. My sister called me one day and said there was a book by Rhonda Byrne. It’s called The Secret, go buy it now. At the point of desperation, I immediately went to the store and found the book. I took it home that day and read it. I’ll never forget sitting in the backyard reading the book all day and late into the night. I was absorbing every word.

First, I tried to manifest a feather. I was going to work and there it was!!! I saw my children doing well. The craziness began to stop. The drugs went away. The boys started to settle down. It was amazing. I got the car of my dreams. And my life totally changed. I bought The Secret CDs and gave them away to friends in need. I bought the books and gave them to friends but they were not as excited as I was. I realized that until you are ready, you cannot grasp The Secret. My husband thought it was crap and soon we went our separate ways. Not because he did not believe but because I finally got out of the verbal abuse situation I was in. My life was great. Manifesting became a way of life. I got the home of my dreams.

Then somewhere along the way, I stopped being as grateful as I should and lost the feeling. I sold my dream home to buy another but all 3 failed inspection on the houses I chose, and with two weeks left till closing I had to move to a place that was not my dream.

Suddenly I realized I had manifested this negative move by negative thoughts. I once again started being grateful for everything around me. I wanted so much to manifest my old house back but realized I must go forward. I have no house payment now so I have the opportunity to buy a beach home and when I walked up to it the first time, I realized the brick was the same as my dream home was, and inside was perfect. I felt at home.

As I continue to believe this is my next move I am grateful for the accomplishments I could not have achieved without The Secret. I have been offered an unbelievable job opportunity and the only thing the owner told me was to just show up to work!!

Now as for my sister, she stopped believing things could be good. Her health started to fail. She had one bad thing after another happen. One day I called her and reminded her of her instructions to me 15 years ago!! I had sent her The Secret CDs and she bought another book since she had given hers away. Her life is coming back together at the age of 70. It’s never too late to believe. My boys are all married and have families and I have 15 beautiful grandchildren for which I am so grateful.

Never forget to be thankful. The negativity in this world could bring you down so do not observe or focus on it.
