Tuesday night June 7th changed my life. For the last couple of years I had been clinically depressed. I lost my beloved pet, Liza to cancer, I left a job and have been fighting to receive back wages of $70,000, closed a business I had for over seven and a half years, became unemployed again in October 2010.

In February 2011 my house went into foreclosure and I became a recluse and did not want to talk or see family and friends. I created my will and updated my beneficiaries on my insurance policy in preparation for my decision to end my life.

In May the television in my bedroom finally died since it was on for pretty much 24 hours a day, I went to bed with it on and woke up with it on. I spent more than 22 hours a day in bed watching tv and felling bad for myself.

I was given a new television for my birthday by friends and it is an internet ready, Netflix, cable tv etc. On Tuesday night June 7th the satellite dish went out so I decided to see what was on Netflix. I had read The Secret years ago and decided to watch The Secret. That night changed my life!

It is amazing how the very next day I had changed my outlook and things have gotten so much better. I was always negative about the groundhog in the backyard rather than being thankful that I actually have a yard for the groundhog to be in. I have one of the most beautiful waterviews and the most spectacular sunsets and I wasn’t appreciating them.

I now get up every morning and sit on my upstairs deck and say thank you! I just sit with gratitude and appreciate the beauty that surrounds me! I have created my Vision Board and placed items that I am attracting to me each and every day! I have found a picture of me with my shirt off and a 6 pack showing from 10 years ago when I was in a very good and positive place in life, I placed that on my Vision Board and have already lost 25 lbs! I have even placed a picture of the most beautiful yacht that will be delivered to me soon, on the glass sliding glass door that when I go on my deck every day, it looks like my yacht is docked right outside.

I use the visualization tools you have freely provided each and every day!! Thank you! I did purchase my Gratitude Book and write in it every day! I also use the Daily Teachings App on my iPhone and have listened to the audio book of The Power.

I have since received unexpected checks and am starting a new company which will be a tremendous success called Essence. Today I was having a yard sale and last night when I went to sleep with The Secret on, I said that I wanted to get $400 from the sale, I made $391.75!! Thank you Universe!!

A new neighbor moved in across the street and the daughter wanted a couple of nicely framed artworks and a full length mirror for her room. I put them aside for her to pick up later. After I realized I had received the money I asked for from the Universe, I brought the items to my neighbor and said “these are for you as a welcome gift, just pay it forward”.

I am so deeply grateful to Rhonda and The Secret team for providing the world with The Secret and the tools! Thank you with all my heart, I am truly grateful!
