I just firstly wanted to say a huge thank you to The Secret. I have so much gratitude for Rhonda and the team.

I’m absolutely astonished at how quickly The Secret has began to work for me! I’ve known about The Secret for about 4 years now. However after ending a toxic relationship about two years ago, I found myself listening to The Secret whilst I was on the way to work or uni in the car, saying over and over in my head “I am receiving”, and I did! I got better marks at university, landed a great job with IKEA, had good friends. Life was looking up.

Unfortunately over the past 6 months or so things had started to sway off path; my finances were in a mess, my relationships all over the place, I was eating awfully and hardly excersising so my weight was increasing, I was working 18 hour days between work and university- my life was completely out of balance! And to make things feel even more overwhelming, as I graduated from university in Dec 2012, it was now time to try and find a graduate industrial design position.

For the last 6 weeks I’ve been applying and applying for positions. Yes there were some leads, but time after time the contact or job would hit a wall. I kept getting down on myself and telling myself that I wasn’t good enough, that nobody would want to hire me. I knew after learning the secret that this was detrimental to getting what I wanted, but I was just feeling so down on myself.

Finally last night, after reading 2 hours worth of secret stories, I thought “thats it! tonight I’m going to change my frame of mind”. So out I got my vision board, which was behind a door and dusty, I got rid of things, added things, and wrote up on a4 pieces of paper what i wanted, particularly to “get a full time design job in Melbourne by February 2013”.

Well! After 6 weeks of applying and no real lee-way, this morning I rang a company as they had a position advertised for an industrial designer. I wasn’t sure if I’d be qualified enough but decided to ring anyway, and to cut a long story short, I now have an interview with them tomorrow in Melbourne! I’m not sure if this is the industrial design type job for me, but I was honestly amazed at what The Secret provided me with, and so quickly!

After tomorrows interview if I decide the job isn’t quite for me, I’m going to get even clearer in my mind about what type of job I want, and have unwavering faith that it will happen! The last 6 weeks have been the toughest of my life and to see what a little faith can do has pushed me forward in leaps and bounds over the last 24 hours. It really does work so quickly!
