One sunny afternoon in February 2010, I went to the bookstore to purchase a book for a birthday present. The book “The Secret” caught my eye but I did not purchase it. The book keeps coming to me even in supermarkets. One day I browsed it, but then again did not purchase it.

Three weeks ago me and my roommates went to the mall for some window shopping. My roommate’s colleague has been calling her like twenty times just to invite her to her birthday. Since we were all together, her colleague told us to tag along with her so she can have company on the road.

When we got there, we ate and had a little chit chat. Then, there in front of me was the book, “The Secret”, so I asked if I could borrow it over the weekend. I brought the book home and finished it in just two nights of reading. I was so inspired I wanted to get a copy for myself. So again when we went to the mall I looked for it at the bookstore. On the shelf I saw “The Power”. Since I already finished The Secret book, I decided to purchase “The Power”.

These two books have had a great impact on me. I just feel so inspired, vibrant, and the fuel in me seems to be fired up.
