The Secret made it’s way to me. Three years ago my life was all gloomy and unbearable. I yearned for something to hold on to. I had many unanswered questions and was wearing out. At 30, nothing exciting was happening to me. My career, finances and relationships left nothing to desire. I was stuck.

I had been struggling to make my dreams of travelling abroad and studying, meeting my dream partner and having a family, but to no avail. My job was boring and routine-like with no hope of any growth or promotion. My finances were just ‘hand-to-mouth’.

Then after many disappointments I was giving up. I had decided to do nothing more but stay low and accept whatever comes. ‘Surely I was destined not to achieve anything in life’ I told myself.

Soon things started happening. Messages of hope from books, friends, movies and TV programs kept coming to me. I started watching religious programs and listening to gospel music to feed my empty soul.

Then one day on local television, it was The Secret movie talking about the law of attraction, gratitude, positive thinking and feelings. That very moment I realized I have attracted almost all the things happening in my life. Doubts, fear, feelings of insecurity, complaining, feeling desperate have been my life and all that I attracted.

Since then I resolved to change my thoughts and feelings. I went searching for The Secret movie, the website and read people’s stories. I started practicing. It is not easy. Sometimes you just find yourself back in the old you. It has not been easy and still today am still learning to make it part of my life. Not that I have not experienced The Magic of this law.

I have practiced on several occasions and seen the amazing results. I changed my feelings towards my job and the people around me. Curiously I have used it in negative and positive ways.

My life is better today. I now look at life differently. It is one year now since I finally traveled! I live and study abroad thanks to the law of the universe! It has always been my deepest heart desire.

Though I have not had it all, I believe there is more to come and I hope to continue using The Secret more effectively to get my dream job, partner and expand my finances.
