I came to know about The Secret through watching the Oprah show last year. I was amazed. I looked for the book since then but only found it February of this year. I could not put it down and cannot stop talking about it to my friends and family. Anyway, here is my story.

I had my income tax done for the year of 2005 (in 2006) and was owing the tax-man close to 1k. Well, there I was thinking how I am going to pay this off before arrears set in. Well you guessed it, arrears soon set in, and it became close to 50% more by the end of last year (2007).

As I read The Secret, I decided to try this thing out for my taxes. I kept telling myself that there was an error, the tax-man is owing me. “There will be a check in the mail.”

Well lo and behold in March of this year I received a refund of $139. You may say big deal, but big deal it is because I am not owing the tax-man. I believe that me applying the Secret was responsible for such.

Also, I have a 5 yr old who watches cable and wants everything she sees. Well, she wants to go to Disneyland and I said sure. And sure enough, the Disney Play House will be visiting our island in August, and I was able to get two tickets, although there is limited seating.

The Secret really works. And I really would like to say I love you Rhonda and all that is the Secret.
