For Christmas, my son gave me the newest Dan Brown novel “The Lost Symbol” (he’s probably most famous for “The DaVinci Code”). Rhonda notes several times in The Secret that info on the LOA can be found everywhere down through the ages in our stories and songs, etc. This particular story was full of LOA info that was interwoven into the story line. Now some of you are probably thinking, “But Ann it’s a work of fiction…” and you are right – it is. However in the beginning of the book, Mr. Brown notes that the information about Noetic Science, as well as other things interwoven into the plot are factual.

Imagine a whole branch of science that is discovering that the human mind is an extraordinarily powerful tool capable of (you guessed it) manifesting and changing the world around it. They have discovered that a thought has mass and therefore it has gravity and while infinitesimally small when combined with like thoughts through concentration or through a large group of people thinking alike, it is extremely powerful. I don’t know if I enjoyed the book more for this affirmation of what I already believe or for the actual story itself.

I am now off to do some on-line reading about Noetic science because my interest has definitely been peaked. Once you really dedicate yourself to The Secret life as I call it, information, confirmation and affirmations will come to you from all sorts of unexpected sources.
