I can’t remember how long it took, maybe a few weeks. In fact I had forgotten I had even asked. But I remember being in the kitchen at their house one day and realising that none of it was my fault. I had tried everything to get them to love me, and if they did not love me, there was nothing I could do.

Since then the change has been incredible, better than I ever ever dared believe.

They DOTE on me now, they adore me, they cook for me, they take me out on trips with them, they want to spend time with me, they give me money, they take an interest in my life and my passions, they believe in me, and encourage me. They even want me to live with them! This is the same parents who last year said I could only spend Christmas Eve and Day with them out of the whole university holidays, when all of my friends had gone home for a month.

I had worried that you couldn’t use The Secret to change another person’s feelings for you. I was so so wrong. 27 years I had suffered, and now our relationship is as good as it could be. Thank you universe.

I often see comments asking how people have achieved what they wrote in their stories. For me all I have ever done is ask, and relax.

I have done some visualisations, but I feel the best thing is to try and take your mind off what you want, because it is done. There is no need to worry about it. If you are worried, just try not to think about it, and take your mind off it with something else.
