My life had become dull and stagnant. My boyfriend broke up with me not on a good note and ever since then I developed a negative approach towards everything around me. I was no longer interested in anything and had all kinds of negative thoughts.

I used to worry all the time about him getting into another relationship. I started looking ugly day by day as I stopped looking after myself and my mind had reached a situation wherein I had no control over it.

During that time I tried a lot of things to bring him back. I offered thousands of prayers to god at all temples but nothing worked.

Things worsened when my boyfriend left for London to study and he wasn’t going to return for 1 year. At this juncture I lost all hope. I thought it will be impossible for me to get him back, and to add to the misery he stopped calling me up. My only point of contact was e-mails, which I wasn’t even sure if he would read them.

Of late there became a lot of issues between him and me and he wanted me to get out of his life. He blocked me from his mailing list. I had given up and I was ready to pack my bags and go away to a different place.

I had started visiting The Secret website often, had read the book, bought the DVD but I felt it was impossible. It was only after I read a story (‘I could never imagine I would get my ex boyfriend back’ – by Dawn from Canada), that I started applying the laws of The Secret.

I stopped blaming myself for the break up or anything that went wrong and I began to appreciate myself for the person I was. I discovered that I had good qualities in me and I was a very loving and caring person. I realised that I can make him happy (something which I felt I had lost).

I started writing in a journal about how we used to love each other and what a wonderful person he is and I discovered him too. I began to picture myself with him, and seeing things the way I wanted them to be, and after just two days of experiencing this…. he CALLED!!!

I can’t believe it! It works! Things are now improving and everything I am thinking is coming true… this is just the beginning.

I thank God for bringing him (my boyfriend) into my life. I am very happy to have him!!!
