A few years ago I saw the book ‘The Secret’ in a book shop and had a quick look at the first couple of pages and thought: I am not going to buy this today, but one day I will have to read it. About 5 years later, the book came to me, in the hands of a friend who wanted me to change my state of mind, when things were getting tough at work. So my wish to read the book had just been made reality… this is the first wish I remember, that became reality…

I started using the law of attraction and actually found that it worked. It amazed me, but it actually did work. then for about a year, I forgot about it. I don’t know how and why I went off the path and stopped using the law of attraction, but I kept wishing that I would get the money I needed to repay my credit card bill in full, in one payment, and that I would then be able to start it all from scratch again.

When things got tough again at work, and I got the news that I was going to be made redundant, I thought about The Secret again, and I thought, okay, everything is alright because by the end of next week, I will have lost my job here, but I will also get a new one with better money.

By then I forgot all about that daily wish about the money for the credit cards, and I did not concentrate on the new job wish either. i just let the wishes go, and actively looked for a job.

One week later, to the day, after a few job interviews (considering the bad economy, the interview offers were flying to me as if I was the only person looking for a job in this town) I get the offer I wanted. Not only am I getting a new job with a better salary; the salary I have been wishing to get for months and months, but also, I am getting a redundancy package and bonus pay that will cover my credit card bill to almost the penny!!!! I mean, seriously!! how does this work???

Well, as they say: wish it and let it go (let it go to the universe), and you will be served. It is not the first time I got something just by wishing it (I got a free bicycle a year ago!!!!!) but every time it happens, it amazes me. One of my friends is telling me I have an incredible power, but the power is not mine… Everyone has the same power. We just need to use it more often. Start using yours and be amazed.
