I’m currently taking up interior design, and during my first year I felt so anxious, because I really wasn’t sure if I am good enough to take this course.

During the first meeting of one of our subjects, our teacher made a powerpoint presentation showing us the best plates of the previous first year students. All of us in class were intimidated and shocked, because their works were so well made and it was as if they weren’t first year students when they did those works. When I got home from school I cried and I cried, because I really thought that I was going to fail and that I couldn’t be as good as those students. I cried every night, wishing that I shouldn’t have taken this course at the first place.

Then, I heard about The Secret. After reading it, I started applying it, always telling myself that I can do it and that I am one of the best in my section. I didn’t know how it will happen, but I was so sure that it will happen.

With all the plates that we had during that year, I always had one of the highest scores in class. My classmates would always tell me that they loved the way I rendered the rooms, and even my teachers tell me that I’m good. In my final plate in one of my subjects, we had to design a room in a vacation house and guess what, I had a perfect score, and after receiving our grades, I have learned that I am a dean’s lister in our college.

Of course I was really thankful and I was really excited because it really happened. I was one of the best in my class!!

This summer, my teacher called me up and asked me if she could borrow my final plate. I asked her why, and she told me that she will take a picture of it and will include it in her powerpoint presentation for the incoming freshmen. After my teacher hung up, I called my friend and told her what had happened and we both cried because of our excitement and gratitude.

I am really so grateful for discovering this. I really couldn’t believe it. Thank you, God!! Thank you, The Secret!
