My Dad was having pains in his stomach. He went to the doctor and got results back from an ultrasound and blood tests. It showed a mass in the liver. My twin sister and I were devastated. Then we had to wait for an appointment with a specialist. The waiting was really hard. We were devastated and stopped living even though between the two of us we are both happily married with four beautiful kids. We started taking out anger on the kids when things didn’t turn out the way we wanted.

On the way to work on Friday I decided we have to stop thinking negatively. We must be positive! When I came home from work I pulled out The Secret which I had read long ago and believed in but didn’t really apply to my life…our lives. I quickly sent my sister the link of these stories everyone has posted and our attitudes completely changed for the better. We started believing that everything would be okay.

Tomorrow we will be going to the specialist appointment with our Dad. I have posted this story before we have even gotten any word form the doctor because I know everything will be okay. Our Dad is the healthiest 67 year old I know and he will be alright! Life is wonderful! Thank you to The Secret for changing our lives for the better!
