Before I arrived at the airport to leave the country, I decided to buy a book for the flight. The Secret caught my attention. I read the first few pages and thought it was very interesting. During the flight I just couldn’t put that book down. I remember reading about the man who imagined a feather with certain details on it, and he saw it weeks later. I decided I wanted to test the Secret that way.

I had to think of an object that would help prove the Secret. When I arrived in Israel I decided that I would find a 1984 penny. I imagined seeing the penny and felt the feelings of being surprised and amazed at the site of the penny. I felt the penny in my hand.

Two weeks went by and there was no sign of a 1984 penny. I did not doubt the power of the Secret though. I kept visualizing that penny over and over.

I arrived back in Atlanta a week later, and there was still no sign of the penny. A few days later I was hanging out with a few friends. I told one of my good friends about my testing of the Secret, and about the 1984 penny I imagined. He thought the idea was pretty cool. After a few hours of hanging out, my friends and I ate at waffle house. Out of nowhere the friend I told the penny story to pulls a penny out of his pocket with an amazed look on his face. It was a 1984 penny. I know this seems like it could have just been some kind of coincidence, but the story isn’t over.

A week later I was hanging out with another friend and we were eating at a restaurant. I told him about the penny. He decided he wanted to also test the Secret and think of a random item like the penny. The item he chose was another 1984 penny. I thought that was funny, but I had no doubt that the Secret would get that penny to him.

After we ate I went back to my house and he went back to his. I was sitting and listening to music when I got a phone call. It was my friend from earlier. He was so excited when he told me that the change from the restaurant had a 1984 penny in it. I could not believe my ears.

This story isn’t something that has changed my life or anything cool like that… but in my opinion it proves that the Secret is really working. I am looking forward to using the Secret for bigger and better things soon. 🙂
