Hello everyone,

I hope you are well. I will try to summarize my story and make it as short as possible to avoid repeating myself. It is one of my weaknesses, I talk too much, haha!

To begin with, at my university there is a possibility to travel and at the same time, to study abroad for one semester, which is about 5 to 6 months. These trips are highly subject to chance so I am very grateful to be a part of them. All the costs were at our own expense. Nothing is offered by the school except the price of the session. In fact, we pay the price of a session to our university and not to the university overseas. This is a blessing because elsewhere in the world, the cost of education can be very, very expensive. Anyway, since I had to pay for everything, I started saving very early.

In the meantime, I went to a family dinner and was offered the opportunity to read The Secret. I started to read it and I came across the part where it talked about The Secret and money. So, when I got to that part, I asked myself a question. How much money would I need to support myself properly for 6 months abroad? I figured I would need about $15,000. As a matter of fact, at the time of asking this request to the Universe, I had saved almost $6,200. I was $8,800 short from the 15 grand.

One night, while talking with my father, we came up with the idea of filling out an application for student financial aid, because who knows, maybe I could receive a small amount of money that I could dedicate to my trip. My father and I had submitted an application last year but it had not been accepted for some reason.

The crunch of the story is coming now. That is when the miracle happened. Indeed, about 1 week after reading this chapter in the book and 2 days after applying for student financial aid, I received an answer from the organization that offers its loans and grants. My application had been accepted, but they also offered me a bursary of about $8,900 which is almost the exact amount that I was missing! Plus a little more! Thank you, thank you, thank you! I was in total shock.

Even today, almost a month after the event, I still can’t explain how it is possible that I received the money I was missing by thousands of dollars. The law of attraction and The Secret is definitely something I will apply in other areas of my life because it works.
