I had a beautiful experience that I would like to share here. Our company is facing an ISO certification audit that is due on the first of the upcoming month. So the preparations are ongoing and I am the only person from management that is responsible for preparing for the audit. Every day I am going through various records and I have been bringing some of them home with me as homework after office hours. Yesterday, while returning back home from the office, I somehow lost the records bag on the road somewhere. I only noticed the bag was missing when I got home. Like many other average people, I got a little emotional and upset about it. I went back to the office again and I searched along the roadside. I did not find it and I returned back home with some negative feelings. Then I also conveyed a message to the office helpers to search for it in the morning but I was not feeling very positive inside.

Then my wife told me very firmly not to worry, and that I will get the missing reports back. After some time, I listened to some inspirational audio talks while I was doing ISO work on my laptop. I felt relaxed. Then this morning I listened to a few more inspirational sessions and some motivational songs. Even though I was now feeling more positive inside, I asked my wife in a critical way when will The Magic and The Secret start working. She was so positive and cool and she told me firmly that I will be getting my stuff back for sure.

That was when I realized my mistake. I was still being negative and doubtful and not feeling any gratitude. So I started saying thank you while I was shaving, bathing, and getting ready to go to the office. I started to feel more energetic and I felt confident that I was going to be able to handle this situation, whatever way it turned out. I then got out my gratitude stone and held it and said thank you from deep in my heart. Then I did it again while I kick-started my bike to ride to the office.

Then by God’s grace, I received a phone call from my office helper saying that he had collected the records from a flower shop! Normally he would get off at the Kalai Magal Nagar bus stop but today he got off at Ambal Nagar and started searching for the bag. At last, he found the bag with a flower shop lady. He had surprised me and collected the record bag after paying fifty rupees to the flower shop lady! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

It was an experience I felt very grateful for and I realized the potential of positive thinking and having an attitude of gratitude. The Magic and The Secret are working if we are implementing them from our hearts. Thank you to my mentors for continuing to share the values of positive thinking and positive vibration. Thank you to my office helper for finding the bag. Thank you for The Magic book! Thank you to God. I am so proud and grateful for my wife, Raji. She always believes in positive prayers and positive self-talk.
